  M.A.P.A.L.A.D. K.A.

(Magulang at Paslit Laban sa Digmaan at Karahasan)- a community-based families for peace movement organized by AKCDF in February 2001 in response to the worldwide call for peace actions after the September 11 World Trade Center attack.

It aims to strengthen community-based family movements for the promotion of the rights of children and their families against war and violence by engaging in yearly peace activities that include Peace Camps, International Peace Conferences, Study Tours and Peace Marches in cooperation with various NGOs and people’s organizations from its member communities in Payatas, Montalban, Marikina, Caloocan, Malabon and Quezon cities.
